Native American pendant jewelry
in sterling silver, inverted teardrop
shape with inlay of with varying
vertical bands of turquoise.

The reverse is inlaid abalone shell
and mother of pearl defined by
intersecting blocks of black jet.

Colin described this technique as
representing the fracture of his heart
when breaking off a relationship.

It is one of his earlier works and
was acquired from the New Mexico
Museum of Art in Santa Fe.
